About this Blog

I've always said. "The good thing about business is the customers, and the bad thing about business is the customers". It's no secret that customer are needed in any business, that's pretty much a no brainer, but what happens when you get a bad customer?. Early in any business there is a mind set that you need every customer you can get, and the result is you may end up getting the bad ones to, for this reason we created this blog.

A new business has to screen its customers well, bad customer can ruin your reputation and make life miserable. Good customers on the other hand can help you succeed.

Defining a bad customer:

  • Chronic complaining
  • Unreasonable requests
  • Verbally abusive on the phone to your staff
These are just a few of the attributes of bad customers. Complaints are a fact of life in any business, even good customers can have a valid complaint. Good customers usually work together with a business to address concerns and in the end a resolution to whatever problem arises.

Lets help other businesses avoid the bad customer experience you had by posting it in this blog. We have a few to add as well. Following this blog or linking to it will help us build popularity, build a foundation of bad customer experiences and aid others in avoiding them.

Final thought:

Have you witnessed a customer go in to a restaurant, almost eat the entire meal and then complain to the manager until its comped or discounted? We have witnessed such behavior with customers and have even had similar situations with our own. this by definition is steeling from the business. Basically bullying the business owner into a discount. Customers have the Better Business Bureau to avoid bad businesses, businesses should have another resource to avoid bad customers.
